Our Story
Ted Tsung worked until early 2006 in conjunction with Thomson Financial, as Chief Technology Advisor,
to develop technology solutions for broker dealers and RIAs. Ted built upon that expertise with his own
venture, TwoDimensions Technology, later that year. With an initial focus on sales and technology,
TwoDimensions licensed its integration technology and service to AppCrown LLC., a sales and marketing
company. AppCrown continued to innovate within the financial services community through much of 2009.
During this time, TwoDimensions shifted its focus to servicing integration technology and forging wide
spread industry partnerships with leading financial service software providers. In addition, it partnered
with Salesforce.com, a company second to none in the space of sales and marketing support. With a laser
sharp focus now in place, TwoDimensions launched AppCrown LLC, in September 2009, to execute its vision.
AppCrown is now the leading provider for integrated solutions for the broker-dealer and RIA market.
The business now manages over $8 billion of client assets and overseeing the CRM solution of a national
financial institution with brokerage assets of over $5 billion.
What Do We Do?
AppCrown provides a comprehensive solution to develop the business of broker/dealers, independent
RIAs, and R/Rs. Broker/dealers are able to grow their enterprise value through AppCrown strategic
implementation and applications.
How Do We Do it?
At AppCrown, we work with the client, developing an overview of the technology solutions that you use to run your business. This typically includes 3rd party financial software from financial planning, portfolio analytics, document storage, or access to your custodian/clearing technology.
We have the glue to connect all these independent applications through one portal allowing advisors single-sign-on access to these various applications via a single web-based workstation.
What is Integration?
Integration allows users the capability for single-sign-on to various 3rd party financial software applications through a single portal. Lets say I am using TD Ameritrade as my custodian (utilizing their Veo® platform), and have Albridge for data aggregation and performance reporting. Our integrated solution allows the advisor to log into one CRM platform, and to view account details in Veo with a click of button, display Albridge performance reports, then log a call all from a contact record.
Our Strategy
Strategically, AppCrown’s Integration service was built on Salesforce award winning Force.com’s cloud computing model. This decision allowed the business to leverage a billion dollar CRM company and services available for our customer. The partnership with Salesforce.com allows clients to receive the benefits of a global infrastructure at a low cost.
